PPC management services measured on cost per lead

Google Ads can fill your diary or quietly empty your budget. We run our PPC management services against one number: what each enquiry costs you. Tracking comes first, then campaigns built around the searches that lead to work, ads that send people to pages matching what they searched for, and reports in plain English.

01

Impression

The right search, the right ad.

02

Click

They choose you over the rest.

03

Enquiry

The visit turns into a conversation.

Why Google Ads often disappoints

Reports talk about clicks and impressions but never about enquiries.

Conversion tracking is missing, or counts page views as conversions.

Broad keywords and no negative keyword lists, so you pay for irrelevant searches.

Every ad sends people to the homepage.

The management fee rises with your spend, so nobody is motivated to spend less.

Why we manage paid search to cost per lead

Before we change a single campaign, we agree with you what a good enquiry is worth and what you can sensibly pay for one. Every decision after that, on keywords, bids, ads, landing pages and budget, is judged on whether it lowers the cost per lead or improves the quality of the enquiries.

Our fee is set for your account after the audit, based on the work involved. It is never a percentage of your ad spend, so we have no reason to push your budget up.

What paid search management includes

  • Tracking you can trust

Conversion tracking for forms, calls and bookings, set up and checked so Google Ads is optimising for real enquiries.

  • Campaign structure and keywords

Campaigns organised around the services and locations that bring in work, with negative keyword lists that stop spend on searches that never convert.

  • Ads and landing pages that match

Ad copy written for each group of searches, pointing at a landing page that answers the same question. Built with our website team, so pages load fast and make contact easy.

  • Bids and budget

Spend moved towards the campaigns producing enquiries at the right cost, and away from the ones that aren't.

  • Lead quality feedback

Where your CRM allows, we feed back which enquiries became customers, so campaigns aim for good leads, not just more leads.

  • Plain-English reporting

A monthly report showing spend, enquiries, cost per lead and what we changed. Short enough to read in five minutes.

Google Ads for small businesses that sell a service

Paid search suits businesses with a clear service and people actively searching for it: trades, professional services and specialist firms. It works well while SEO is still building, and for existing accounts that spend money without a clear return. We focus on Google Ads search campaigns that generate enquiries rather than ecommerce shopping campaigns.

How paid search work runs

Audit. We look at where you are now and agree what counts as a good enquiry for your business. The fee is scoped from what we find, so you see the plan and the cost before anything starts.

Development sprint (month one). We fix the things holding results back first, in a focused block of work.

Ongoing retainer (from month two). Monthly improvement against the numbers we agreed, with a plain-English report each month: enquiries, where they came from, what we changed and what comes next.

Attract work always continues as a monthly retainer after the sprint, because search results, ad auctions and competitors keep moving. A short sprint-only project makes sense in a few cases, such as taking a new brand to market. We will tell you if yours is one of them.

For paid search, the sprint covers tracking, account restructure and landing pages. The retainer is the ongoing management: search term reviews, bid and budget changes, ad testing and monthly reporting.

Paid clicks are expensive. Answer them fast.

Paid search sits in the same plan as SEO, so we can see which channel wins enquiries more cheaply and adjust. Once someone gets in touch, speed matters: an enquiry you paid for that waits a day for a reply is money wasted. That is where Convert comes in, with an AI Front Desk to acknowledge and route enquiries straight away.

Find out where your enquiries are being lost

Not sure what your Google Ads enquiries are costing you? Our opportunity analysis looks at how people find you, what happens when they land and what happens to their enquiry afterwards. You get a plain-English view of where enquiries are being lost or missed, and what we would fix first. There is no obligation.

FAQs

Common questions

How do you charge for PPC management?

We set the fee for each client after the audit, based on the size and complexity of the account and the work involved. It isn't a percentage of your ad spend, and we don't publish a price list.

How much should we spend on Google Ads?

It depends on your market, how much clicks cost and what an enquiry is worth to you. After the audit we recommend a starting budget that gives the campaigns enough data to learn, then adjust it based on cost per lead.

Can you take over our existing Google Ads account?

Yes. We audit it first, fix the tracking and structure, and keep what is already working.

How soon will we see enquiries?

Once tracking is in place, campaigns can bring in enquiries soon after they go live. The first weeks are about learning which searches convert at the right cost, so expect steady improvement rather than perfection on day one.

Should we start with SEO or paid search?

Often both. Paid search brings enquiries in now while SEO builds a cheaper, longer-term source. Because we manage both as an SEO and PPC plan, we can shift effort between them as the numbers change.

Are you a paid search agency or a consultancy?

Both, in practice. We manage campaigns day to day like a paid search agency, and connect them to your website, CRM and enquiry handling like a consultancy.

Want to know what your enquiries really cost?

Tell us about your current campaigns, or your plans if you haven't started. We will show you where enquiries are being lost and what we would fix first. We reply within one working day.
