Smarter systems for growing businesses
Get more of the right enquiries, respond faster to customers and automate the repetitive admin that slows your team down.
When your systems don't talk to each other, work goes missing
Most growing businesses don't have one big technology problem. They have several small ones sitting between different suppliers.
Each gap costs a little. Together they cost you customers, hours and patience. Marketing agencies usually stop once the lead arrives. IT firms usually stop at the tenant. We work across both, so the enquiry you paid to win is answered, followed up and handled properly afterwards.
- Customers who need you cannot find you in search.
- Enquiries sit unanswered in a shared mailbox.
- Follow-up depends on someone remembering to do it.
- The same details get typed into three different systems.
- Microsoft 365 has grown for years without anyone owning how it is set up.
The fix: attract the right buyers, convert the enquiry, automate the rest
Four areas of work, one team. Start with whichever leak is costing you the most.
Two ways to start
Pick the one that matches the problem. We agree what to look at with you, then we show you what we found.
Opportunity analysis
For businesses that want more enquiries, or suspect they are losing the ones they get. We look at how people find you, what happens when they land on your site and what happens to their enquiry after they send it.
Free Microsoft 365 assessment
For businesses that rely on Microsoft 365 every day but cannot say for sure whether it is secure, well governed or used properly. An independent, evidence-led look with practical priorities, not a generic checklist.
Would you rather just talk it through? Book a free consultation. Or put your own numbers into the free tools: hours, support cost, which process to do first, and an AI readiness score. The figures are the numbers you type, worked out in the browser.
Why this works when split suppliers don't
One partner across the journey
Websites, search, enquiry handling, Microsoft 365 and automation usually sit with different suppliers. To your customer it is one experience, so we treat it as one problem.
Evidence before assumptions
Recommendations come from what we can see in your data and your setup. Where something cannot be verified, we say so.
Outcomes before technology
Every recommendation is explained in terms of sales, admin time, customer experience or risk. If a better spreadsheet solves it, we will tell you.
Built for growing businesses
Capable, professional systems without enterprise complexity or enterprise overheads.
How we work with you
Audit, plan, build, support. You can stop after the findings — nothing is assumed.

Audit
Understand goals, risks and opportunity — how the business runs today and where work is leaking.

Prioritise what moves the needle. You see the findings and a plan you can say no to.
- 03
Build
Implement with care and clarity: a written scope, a definition of done, and clear ownership.
- 04
Support
Measure, refine and stay on track. We stay involved only if you want help as the business grows.

Practical guides from the work
Read the insightsConvert
Why do enquiries disappear after someone fills in the form?
The form is rarely the problem. The enquiry lands somewhere with no owner, and nobody notices until the customer has gone.
Attract
What should social media management do if you need enquiries?
Likes are not enquiries. Social is worth paying for when a buyer can find you, believe you, and start a conversation.
Automate
ChatGPT for business or Azure OpenAI: which should a UK SME use?
Consumer ChatGPT, ChatGPT Business, ChatGPT Enterprise, the OpenAI API and Azure OpenAI solve different problems. Choose on data handling and how you will use it, not on the demo.
Foundation
What is a Microsoft 365 security assessment, and do you need one?
A straight answer to what gets checked, what you should expect to receive, and the signs that your tenant is overdue a look.
Common questions
What does an IT consultancy like Ventric actually do?
We plan, build and improve the systems a growing business runs on. For us that covers the Microsoft 365 platform, the website and search work that brings enquiries in, the tools that make sure each enquiry gets answered, and the automation that removes repetitive admin. Most IT consultancy services stop at the technology. We connect it to winning and keeping customers.
Are you a managed service provider?
No. We do not sell licences on commission and we are not a helpdesk ticket queue. We are a business IT consultancy: we set up, fix and improve systems, and stay on to support them where that makes sense.
Do you work with small businesses?
Yes. We are built for growing businesses that need capable systems without enterprise complexity. If you have been looking for an IT consultant for a small business who also understands marketing and enquiries, that is the gap we fill.
How much does it cost?
We do not publish a price list because the right scope depends on what we find. Work is scoped after an initial audit or assessment, and you get a clear scope and cost before anything starts.
Where do you work?
We work with businesses across the UK, mostly remotely. See our locations page for Northampton, Edinburgh and Cornwall.
Tell us what isn't working
You don't need a fully defined project before you talk to us. A short conversation is usually enough to work out the most sensible first step. We reply within one working day.
