Small business website design built to load fast and win enquiries
A website should help the right customers find you, understand what you offer and take the next step. We design, rebuild and improve small business websites and landing pages around that job: quick on a phone, clear within seconds, and tracked so you can see the enquiries they produce.
We reply within one working day. No obligation.

Signs your website is costing you work
It is slow to load on a phone, which is where most visitors see it first.
A new visitor can't tell within a few seconds what you do and where you work.
There is one contact page with a generic form and no clear next step on the service pages.
Paid and search traffic lands on pages that don't match what people searched for.
It was built years ago by someone you have lost touch with, and nobody can easily change it.
If you are about to spend money on ads or SEO, fix these first. Sending traffic to a site that doesn't convert is the most expensive way to find out it doesn't convert.
What Website Performance covers
Website design and rebuilds
New or replacement sites structured around your services and the places you work, with each page given one clear job. Small business web design that starts from how your customers decide, not from a template.
Service and campaign landing pages for paid search and SEO that match what the visitor searched for and make it easy to get in touch.
Pages that load quickly on an ordinary phone connection. We deal with heavy images, bloated scripts and slow hosting, focusing on fixes that visitors notice rather than on the score.
Navigation, page structure, calls to action and forms designed so contacting you is the obvious thing to do. This is what turns a brochure site into a lead generation website.
Redirects, page titles and content carried across properly when a site is rebuilt, so the visibility you have earned isn't thrown away.
Form submissions, calls and bookings tracked in Google Analytics 4 from launch, so you can see which pages produce enquiries.

- Rebuild or improve?
Do you actually need a new website?
Often you don't. If the platform is sound, fixing the structure, content and speed of the site you already have is quicker and cheaper than starting again. Sometimes a rebuild really is the answer: the site can't be edited, can't be made fast, or no longer matches what you sell. We will tell you which situation you are in after the audit, and our website redesign services only come into it when they are justified.
How website work runs
Audit. We look at where you are now and agree what counts as a good enquiry for your business. The fee is scoped from what we find, so you see the plan and the cost before anything starts.
Development sprint. Improvements to an existing site happen in the first month. A full new build is scoped with its own timeline, agreed before we start.
Ongoing retainer (after the sprint). Monthly improvement against the numbers we agreed, with a plain-English report each month: enquiries, where they came from, what we changed and what comes next.
Attract work always continues as a monthly retainer after the sprint, because search results, ad auctions and competitors keep moving. A short sprint-only project makes sense in a few cases, such as taking a new brand to market. We will tell you if yours is one of them.
The retainer covers new landing pages, speed, content updates and conversion improvements, so the site keeps improving after launch instead of slowly going out of date.
Where your website fits
Your website sits between the searches that bring people in and the systems that answer them. We build it alongside SEO Growth and Paid Search, so landing pages match the traffic, and Conversion Optimisation, so pages keep improving. Once someone gets in touch, the enquiry flows into Convert, where an AI Front Desk can acknowledge it straight away.
Find out where your enquiries are being lost
Not sure whether your website is the problem? Our opportunity analysis looks at how people find you, what happens when they land and what happens to their enquiry afterwards. You get a plain-English view of where enquiries are being lost or missed, and what we would fix first. There is no obligation.

FAQs
Common questions
How much does small business website design cost?
It depends on the number of pages, the content and what the site needs to connect to, such as a CRM or booking system. We scope it after the audit and you see the cost before anything starts. We don't publish prices.
How long does a new website take?
It depends on the size of the site and how quickly content and feedback come together. We agree milestones in the scope, before any work begins.
Will a redesign hurt our Google rankings?
Handled carelessly it can. We plan redirects, page titles and content migration as part of the build so the search visibility you have is carried across.
Which platform do you build on?
We recommend a platform after the audit, based on who needs to edit the site, what it has to connect to and how fast it needs to be. We don't force every client onto the same system.
Can you improve our existing site instead?
Yes, and that is often the better option. Plenty of sites need clearer structure, faster pages and better calls to action rather than a rebuild.
Do you design landing pages for Google Ads?
Yes. Landing page design is part of how we run Paid Search: each campaign points at a page that matches the search, which usually lowers the cost per lead.
