An AI helpdesk inside Microsoft Teams
Password resets, printer set-up, 'where is the holiday form?'. The same questions reach the same people every week. An AI helpdesk in Teams answers them from your own guides, walks staff through the fix, and hands anything it cannot solve to a person with the details already captured.
We reply within one working day. No obligation.
Why routine questions cost more than they look
Your most technical person is interrupted all day with questions a guide could answer
- 01Your IT provider logs tickets for things staff could fix themselves in two minutes
- 02Guides exist somewhere in SharePoint, but nobody finds them
- 03Questions asked after hours wait until the morning

How the AI helpdesk works
A member of staff asks a question in Teams, in their own words.
The assistant searches approved sources only, such as your IT guides, HR and office FAQs in SharePoint.
It answers with clear steps and a link to the source, so staff can check it.
For simple requests, such as access to a SharePoint site or new equipment, it starts a Power Automate workflow for approval.
If it cannot help, it passes the question to a person or your IT provider, with the conversation attached.
What you get
The top recurring questions identified and written up as clear answers, with your help
- 01An assistant built in Copilot Studio and published in Teams
- 02An escalation route to a person, a Teams channel or your IT provider's ticketing email
- 03Simple request workflows in Power Automate
- 04Testing with a group of staff before everyone gets it
- 05A view of what people ask, so you can fill gaps in your guides

What it will not do
It will not replace your IT provider for hands-on fixes, make admin changes without approval, or answer from sources you have not approved. Ventric is not a managed IT support provider, so the assistant works alongside whoever supports your IT today.
What makes it work
The assistant is only as good as the guides behind it. If those are scattered or out of date, we fix that first through SharePoint & Knowledge Management. The same approach powers AI Employee Onboarding, and both are built as Copilot Studio agents.
FAQs
Common questions
Is an AI helpdesk the same as an IT helpdesk chatbot?
It is the same idea, done differently. Older IT helpdesk chatbots follow fixed scripts and fail when a question is phrased differently. An AI helpdesk understands the question and answers from your own content, with scripted steps only where a process must be followed exactly.
Will it replace our IT support provider?
No. It handles the routine questions and passes the rest on with better information, so your provider spends time on real problems.
Does it work as a Microsoft Teams helpdesk?
Yes. Staff chat with it in Teams like a colleague, and escalations can post into a Teams channel your IT contact watches.
How does AI for IT support handle tickets?
Where your IT provider takes tickets by email or through a system with an API, the assistant can log the ticket with a summary of the conversation, so nobody has to ask the same questions again.
Is our information secure?
The assistant runs inside your Microsoft 365 tenant, answers only from sources you approve, and respects existing SharePoint permissions.
What do you need from us?
Your existing guides, even rough ones, a list of the questions people ask most, and a named contact for escalations.
What does it cost?
We scope it after the first conversation. Copilot Studio has its own usage-based licensing, and we explain the likely running costs for your case before anything is built.
