Take the admin off a care team. Leave the care decisions with them.

Limited staff, and a day that is already full. The useful question is not "where can we use AI?" It is which chore is repetition, and which one is a person's judgement about another person.

Can come off the desk

  • The same visiting-family question, answered from a page you already trust.
  • Starter paperwork that is a checklist, not a clinical decision.
  • Rota changes that are currently a text message and a spreadsheet.
  • Policy acknowledgements nobody can prove were read.

Should stay with a person

  • Anything that changes care, medication, or who is allowed in.
  • A complaint, a safeguarding worry, or a family who is frightened.
  • Notes that need a professional's name on them.
  • A model that would guess when the source document is unclear.

The readiness questions are the right start when someone on the board has said the organisation should "do AI". The support calculator is the right start when the phone is the repetitive part. Staff admin, once you know which checklist it is, sits with employee onboarding.
