What could extra organic visits be worth?
What these numbers mean
- Extra visits over 12 months
- 4,800
- Enquiries
- 96
- Value in a typical month
- £2,000
Value over 12 months
£24,000
The extra visits are counted in full every month for 12 months. Organic visits usually build, so this is the size of the result if those visits, the conversion rate and the value hold.
Rankings sit outside this sum. Nothing here says a page will reach a position, or by when.
The extra visits are 20% of the organic visits you have today.

Technical, local and content work aimed at enquiries, measured against the visits and the conversion rate you can already see.

Use this to put a figure on extra organic visits before you spend more on SEO. It multiplies the visits you want to test by your conversion rate and by what each result is worth. The visits are counted in full every month for the period you set, so you can see the size of that result.
The work behind a real programme sits in SEO growth. If the page is already getting the visit and losing the enquiry, look at conversion optimisation as well. For paid clicks, use the PPC ROI calculator.
How to read the result
Four hundred extra visits a month, a 2% conversion rate and £250 a result is 96 results over a year, and £24,000. That is the sum the sliders start on. Replace every figure with your own.
A return appears only when you type a monthly cost. At £800 a month the cost over a year is £9,600, so the £24,000 of value leaves £14,400, which is 150% back on that cost. The cost is yours. It is not a Ventric price.
What to put in the boxes
- Organic visits are the monthly figure from Search Console or your analytics, for the pages you care about.
- Extra visits are the increase you want to test. They are a scenario, not a promise.
- The conversion rate is enquiries or sales divided by those visits. Use a rate you have already measured.
- The value is revenue, or gross profit, per enquiry or per sale. Say which one you are using when you share the link.
- The close rate stays at 100% when that value is already a sale. Lower it when some enquiries never become customers.
If you want the same kind of sum for a repeated internal task, the hours and cost calculator does that from people and hours.
